I founded the company Successor Consulting in the fall of 2015. I had found an inexhaustible source of needs: challenging and transformative ERP projects. My goal was to help clients with these, often the most difficult projects for companies.

To my surprise, however, a couple of months later I found myself in the shoes of the CEO of a growing IT company, and Successor Consulting was pushed into a drawer to wait for the future for no less than nine years.

In the summer of 2024, the day came when Successor Consulting was pulled out of the drawer. In nine years, the fire for helping customers and entrepreneurship had not subsided. Instead, while acting in the role of a decision-maker in a large company, the idea that companies deserve better support than they currently have for managing demanding change situations had become clear in my mind. Many decision-makers hear empty consultant talk, even though they deserve results, actions and honest consulting. When you walk into a restaurant and order a meal, you usually get what you ordered. Consulting is different. Too often, a business decision-maker thinks they have ordered competent and customer-oriented consulting for a change situation, but instead they get a consultant who is not suitable for the need, dressed up with beautiful speeches.

The desire to offer clients more honest and effective consulting on change situations made me jump from a challenging task that I enjoyed and did with all my heart to becoming an entrepreneur. On the sunniest days of late summer in the seaside town of Tammisaari, with the encouragement of a good sparring partner, a new chapter began in the story of Successor. Successor is needed so that clients get what they order through effective and straightforward consulting. No talk, but actions. People-focused management. More successful changes.

Successor provides effective and honest consulting for demanding change situations, always with a smile. You will receive support and help in managing change, whether it is managing change projects, such as ERP projects, developing a growth company or any other change situation in the company.

Sometimes the twists and turns of a story are best understood in hindsight. It took nine years for the company's resources and expertise to be at their best. I am proud to be able to offer my clients five years of experience as a CEO of a growth company and almost 20 years of project and project management experience as a source of success. I believe that the lessons I have learned from Finland's most challenging and demanding projects and from creating growth will bring genuine insight and value to Successor's clients.

There is excitement in the air at the beginning of the company's first chapter. The next chapter reveals whether there is a place for honest and effective change management consulting in the market.
